Workspace preferences
Settings → General holds the workspace-level preferences. All of these are per-browser settings — they follow the machine you set them on.
Appearance
Choose Light, Dark, or System — System follows your OS preference and switches automatically. The whole app themes instantly, editor included.
Notifications
Toggle Show notifications to let Corte notify you when long-running work finishes — exports, generations, and workflow runs — so you can switch tabs while they cook.
Telemetry & crash reports
Two independent toggles:
- Share product telemetry — anonymous usage signals that guide what we build.
- Crash reports — diagnostic reports when something breaks.
Both are optional; turning them off changes nothing about how the app works.
Backend URL
Advanced: the app talks to api.corte.so by default, and enterprise or
self-hosted deployments can point it at their own server here. If your
organization gave you a backend URL, paste it exactly as provided. A wrong
value here is the classic cause of an app that loads but can't sign in — see
Sign-in issues.
