AI Clip Edit (Edit Studio)
Some changes aren't a grade or an effect — they're "make it snow" or "this 16:9 shot needs to be 9:16." Edit Studio applies video-to-video AI to one clip on your timeline. Open it from the clip's AI Edit → Edit… menu.
Edit mode
Describe the change: relight to golden hour, add weather, restyle, remove something from the shot. Two-step flow to protect your credits:
- Preview frame — renders your prompt against a single frame first, into the Edit Previews sidebar. Try a few prompts and compare looks; frames are cheap.
- Generate video — applies the winning prompt to the whole clip.
The button shows the estimated cost (for example "Generate video · ~24 cr") before you commit.
Reframe mode
Pick a target aspect ratio (9:16, 1:1, 4:5…) and resolution, and Corte re-frames the footage — tracking the subject rather than blindly center- cropping. If the clip is longer than the reframe model supports, you'll see a length warning: split the clip and reframe the part you need.
Where results go
Finished edits import back into your Media panel as new media — your original clip is untouched. Swap the new version in, or A/B them on separate tracks.
:::info Whole-video transformations Edit Studio works on one clip. To restyle or fix an entire video in one pass, use the finishing Applications — Stylize Video, Video Weather, Video Time of Day, Reframe Video, Upscale Video. :::
