The Library
The Library tab in the rail is the one place that collects everything you make in Corte — every Studio generation, every workflow output, every upload — so you can find it again and reuse it anywhere.
Personal Library
With your personal workspace active, the Library shows your generated media across every project: images, video, and audio from Studio, Applications, the editor's generate tools, and workflow runs. Click any item to open a preview with the prompt that made it, the model used, its type, and what it cost.
Project Library
When a shared project is active (switch with the avatar menu), the Library becomes that project's shared library, and every member sees the same thing. A segmented control splits it in two:
- Generated — the project's generation history, no matter which member ran it.
- Files — uploads linked to the project, with name, type, and size.
This is the home base for team work: a contributor generates b-roll, and the whole team can pull it into their cuts.
Using library media anywhere
You never need to download and re-upload your own media — the Library shows up as a source wherever media goes in:
- In the editor — press ⌘I (or File → Import Media…) and switch to the Library tab of the picker. Sources include your uploads, your generated media, and any connected integrations.
- In Studio — type
@in a prompt to mention any library item as a reference. - In Workflows — Image and Video input nodes pick straight from the Library.
Storage
Library media counts toward your plan's storage. You can check usage and clear local caches in Settings → Storage, and delete items you no longer need from their preview.
