Projects & sharing
A project is a shared workspace. Everything inside it — cuts, workflows, generations, and library files — is visible to every member, and all AI work inside it is billed to the project owner's credits (see Pooled billing).
Create a project
- Open the project picker from your avatar in the rail.
- Click New + and name it.
- Your new project appears in the workspace picker, ready for invites.
Every account also has a personal workspace that's just yours — projects are for the work you want to share.
Invite contributors
Switch to the project, then open Settings → Contributors and invite people by email.
Invitees see the pending invite at the top of their home page the next time they sign in, with Accept and Decline buttons. Invites are tied to the email address, so the invitee signs in (or creates an account) with the address you invited.
Roles

| Owner | Everything: rename or delete the project, manage contributors, and their credits pay for the project's AI work. |
| Contributor | Create and edit cuts, generate media, build and run workflows, work in the project's Build apps, and use the shared library. |
Owner-only actions are enforced server-side — a contributor can't remove members or delete the project, even from the API.
In Build, a contributor chats with the builder, publishes, and follows every thread on the project's apps. An app's address, secrets, database and deletion stay with the project owner and whoever created the app. Work a contributor drives is billed to the project owner, like everything else in the project.
Switching workspaces
Click your avatar at the bottom of the rail. The menu lists your personal workspace and every project you belong to — pick one and the whole app switches context: the Cut list, Studio history, Library, and Workflows all show that project's work.
What's shared
Once a project is active, everything you make in it belongs to the project:
- Cuts — every member can open and edit them (the editor's Share rail button shows who has access).
- Generations — Studio and Application results land in the project's Generated library.
- Files — uploads linked to the project appear under Library → Files.
- Workflows — pipelines and their run history are visible to the team.
- Build apps — every member sees the project's apps, their threads and their deploys, and can pick up where the last person left off.
- Integrations — a store, ad account or cloud drive connected in the project is there for every member's pickers, agents and Build apps. Connect with Just me on to keep one to yourself.
Work you do in your personal workspace stays private to you.
