Using Applications
Applications are curated one-click experiences: each wraps the right model, a crafted prompt, and sensible settings behind a single screen. You supply an image, video, or a line of text — Corte does the rest. There are 35 of them, and every run spends credits like any other generation.
Browsing the gallery
Open Applications from the rail (app.corte.so/studio/applications).
Cards are image-first — move your cursor across one to wipe between its
before and after. The header's search field and filter button narrow the
shelf, and both stay pinned as you scroll.
Three curated collections group the most-used apps:
| Collection | The pitch | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Applications for Advertising | Create new ads in seconds — or remake the ones you already have. | Create Ad, Vary Ad, Ad Localization, Mockup, Product Reshoot, Product Video |
| Applications for Fashion | From flatlay to lookbook without a shoot. | Flatlay to Model, Flatlay from Products, Bundle from Products, Stylize Image, Animate Image |
| Finish Your Film | Grade, fix, relight, reframe, and upscale — after the shoot. | Color Grade Video, Remove from Video, Video Weather, Video Time of Day, Reframe Video, Upscale Video |
The full catalog goes well beyond those — a sample:
| For images | For video | For audio |
|---|---|---|
| Product Images, Professional Headshot, Restore Photo, Colorize Photo, Remove Background, Upscale Image, Extend Background, Sketch to Render, Vary Image | Animate Image, Seamless Loop, References to Video, Multi-Shot Video, Edit Video, Video Backdrop, Stylize Video | Sound Effects, Voiceover, Music Track |
Running an application
Clicking a card opens the full-screen run view:
- Add your input. Each app states what it needs — one or more images, a video, or just text. Pickers pull from uploads, your Library, and connected integrations.
- Pick a preset (when the app has them). Presets are one-tap looks with thumbnail previews — Product Reshoot offers All White, Kitchen Counter, Forest, Poolside; Stylize Image offers Watercolor, Anime, Film Noir, Pop Art, Claymation, Pixel Art; Video Time of Day offers Dawn, Golden Hour, Blue Hour, Night. Camera-move presets (like Product Video's Slow Orbit) preview as looping clips.
- Add notes if you want to steer beyond the preset — this field supports @-mentions.
- Run. The estimate ("~N credits") sits right next to the button. The run behaves like any generation: it appears in your gallery, can be cancelled while queued, and lands in your Library.
Applications vs. the composer vs. Workflows
- Reach for an Application when your task matches one — it's the fastest path and the prompts are already tuned.
- Use the composer when you want full control over model and settings.
- Build a Workflow when the task has multiple steps or you'll repeat it at scale.
:::tip Developers Applications are scriptable: list them and run them with the REST API or MCP. :::
