Choosing a model
Corte integrates 13+ generative models behind one credit balance, so choosing one is about fit, not accounts. This article covers where to see the catalog and how to pick.
The catalog: Settings → Models
Open Settings → Models for the full list, grouped by kind — Video, Image, Audio, and Upscale. Each entry shows:
- the display name and the provider behind it,
- its price in the unit that matters — "from 6 cr/s" (video), "4 cr/img" (image), "N cr/1k chars" (audio), or "N cr/run",
- a Pro badge when the model needs a paid plan, and a Disabled badge when it's unavailable on your workspace.
The same information appears inline in every model picker, so you rarely need the catalog mid-flow — it's most useful for comparing prices side by side.
Which model, when
Video — the price spread is wide, so match the model to the stage of work:

Image — Nano Banana is the default and the workhorse (it's also the default in workflow templates). FLUX Dev is a strong alternative look; FLUX Kontext excels at editing and instruction-following on an existing image; Gemini Omni is strong at layout and text-in-image.
Audio — ElevenLabs powers sound effects and voiceover; MiniMax Music generates music tracks. Most audio work flows through the Voiceover, Music Track, and Sound Effects applications.
Upscale / reframe — Luma Reframe powers reframing and upscaling apps like Upscale Video.
Pro models and availability
Pro-badged models (Seedance 2, Kling 3.0, FLUX Kontext, and others) unlock with your first purchase — a top-up from $5 or any plan — see Plans & pricing. Selecting one before that prompts you to top up rather than failing at run time.
Model capabilities differ too — aspect ratios, durations, resolutions, reference-image support — and the composer's settings chips adapt to whichever model you select. If a model can't take your attached images, the composer warns you and offers a swap.
Plugin models
Workspaces can extend the catalog with plugin models, which appear in Settings → Models under their own group and behave like built-ins everywhere else. See Plugins.
Prices are per-model and can change as providers update — the number in the picker and the ~N credits estimate in the composer are always the source of truth for what a run will cost.
