Generating videos
The Video page (app.corte.so/studio/video) generates motion from a prompt
— b-roll you don't have, product shots you can't stage, establishing shots
from another continent.
Write the prompt
Describe the shot like a director: subject, camera move, light, mood.
"Slow dolly-in on a mountain cabin at dawn, fog lifting, cinematic" beats
"mountain video". Type @ to reference your own media, or click Add image
to give the model a starting frame — see below.
Pick a model
Video models trade off speed, quality, and price (billed per second of output, like "6 cr/s"). Pro-badged models unlock with your first top-up or plan.
| Model | Good for |
|---|---|
| Seedance 2 Fast | Quick drafts and explorations — cheap iterations. |
| Seedance 2 | Strong all-rounder; handles people well. |
| Seedance 2.5 | Long takes up to 30 seconds with sound, first and last frame anchors (Pro). |
| Kling 3.0 | High-quality cinematic motion. |
| Kling 3.0 Pro | Final-quality hero shots (Pro plans). |
| Kling 2.1 | Solid earlier generation, lower cost. |
| Hailuo 02 | Expressive motion and action. |
| MiniMax H3 Max | Cinematic motion; can build a shot toward a last frame alone (Pro). |
| WAN 2.2 | Stylized and creative looks. |

Settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Duration | Output length in seconds — the biggest lever on cost. |
| Aspect | 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, and whatever else the model supports. |
| Resolution | Shown when the model offers more than one. |
First frames and references
Click Add image to attach images:
- On models that support a first frame, your first attachment becomes the opening frame and the video animates from it — the standard way to bring a Studio still or product photo to life.
- Models that take reference images use them to steer content and style.
- If a model requires a starting image, the composer tells you ("Model needs a starting image") and Generate stays disabled until you add one. If a model can't use attachments at all, you'll get a warning with a one-click swap to one that can.
Cost, queueing, and results
The ~N credits pill shows the price before you press Generate (duration × the model's per-second rate). While a run is queued or generating, its gallery card shows progress and a Cancel action.
Finished videos land in your Library — drag them onto a timeline, upscale them, or chain them through a Workflow.
Iterate short and cheap: draft at 5 seconds on a fast model, lock the prompt, then re-run on a premium model for the final. Your credit balance will thank you.
